Christmas Shoebox Appeal!

A message from Mrs DeHoest:

I am supporting the Amen Trust Christmas Shoebox appeal through my church this year. I would be grateful if you were able to support me in this venture.

These are family shoeboxes so please include items for parents and children. Attached is the leaflet that guides you what to include. Please do not include books where you need to be able to read English.

Shoebox contents are our everyday items but to these Romanian families living in very basic conditions they show someone cares enough to give them the only gift they may receive this Christmas.

Please only use a standard sized shoebox or equivalent sized box (we don't want large boot boxes as this makes distribution unfair). Please would you kindly also include £2 towards transportation.

If you are unable to fill a box but would like to make a donation of any of the items, I can make up boxes accordingly.

The deadline for any donations is Wednesday 21st October. Please bring to Mrs De Hoest, Puffins class.

I will be asking the children during Assembly on the 6th October but they will only have a short time to meet the deadline.
