Year Four
Year Four is a year of growing confidence, responsibility and deeper learning as children continue their journey through Key Stage 2. Guided by our Christian vision and values, pupils are encouraged to show respect, kindness and perseverance, while developing independence and a love of learning. Through a broad and engaging curriculum, children are supported to explore ideas, work collaboratively and recognise their God-given talents within a nurturing and supportive environment.
A key milestone in Year 4 is the Multiplication Tables Check, which supports children in developing fluency and confidence in their times tables. We approach this positively, ensuring pupils feel well prepared and supported, with a focus on building resilience and self-belief.
We are fortunate to have two fantastic Year 4 classes. Sharks are taught by Mr Sandle Keynes, and Llamas are taught by Mrs Smith and Mrs Evans Page. Our teachers work closely together to provide consistent expectations and high-quality learning, ensuring every child feels valued, challenged and supported.
We are also supported by our dedicated Teaching Assistants, Mr Hunt and Mrs Keaney, who work alongside the class teachers to offer encouragement, guidance and additional support, helping all pupils to flourish both academically and personally.
We look forward to a rewarding and joyful year in Year 4, where children continue to grow in confidence, compassion and understanding, living out our Christian values each day.

Shakespeare Week
For Shakespeare Week, Year Four studied As You Like it and devised, rehearsed and storyboarded a video of Jaques's Seven Ages of Man speech. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust then allowed us to us the orchard at Anne Hathaway's Cottage to film our work.
Here's the results of their labours.

Online Safety
Online safety is more important than ever in today’s digital world. As students spend more time learning, socialising, and exploring online, it’s essential they understand how to stay safe, protect their personal information, and make responsible choices.
